The name of our restaurant, Kitamaeya Yusen, is derived from the "Kitamae-bune,"
a merchant ship that was active in the Sea of Japan from the mid-Edo period to the Meiji era.
We chose this name to pay homage to our owner's hometown, family, and the spirit of these historic vessels.

For our grand reopening, we have completely renovated the interior
